The year was 1660 when the first sparkling wine was born at the Hartmann family estate in France. Tastings in heavenly gardens, paired with the company of the most elegant ladies in the Kingdom.
In the air could be heard the old familiar sound of Moritz d'Hartmann as he whispered inspiration into the vines. A tradition passed down from generation to generation.
"The simple pleasures of life shared with my dear friend Rose" he would say.
"Blissfully delicious, the taste of the sparkling fruit gives way to an indescribable feeling of surrender that lives on and will forever remain in our glass and our hearts".
Today more than 350 years later, Birkedal Hartmann reminds us of these glorious times thanks to Rose AlléE.
